Activity description: The library established by the Stadler-Trier Foundation was founded in Prague in 2021 by the legacy of its founder, conductor and musicologist Jan Stadler (1922-2019). The foundation of the fund consists of publications and musical recordings that Jan Stadler collected during his lifetime. There is musicological and philosophical literature, music books and recordings of music on various media (CDs, DVDs, LP records). A total of about 15,000 library items are stored at the headquarters of the Foundation in the Palace of the Hrzáns of Harasov at 12 Celetná Street. The library also sends cataloguing records to the Collections Catalogue. The library is intended for the professional and artistic public, with a special focus on young concert artists.
