The Music Department has a very extensive collection of audiobooks, music CDs, films on DVD, gramophone records, music books and magazines - this collection continues to be continuously enriched with new titles. The portfolio of lending services has recently been expanded to include the possibility of borrowing musical instrument cases, discman or external CD/DVD drives for playing borrowed media. In addition to the standard loan collection, we traditionally offer a wide selection of music databases that are freely accessible to registered readers. The department also organises various events such as thematic programmes and workshops with musical themes or library and information education classes. For seniors, there is a monthly Monday Matinee on interesting cultural figures or a History Window. Those interested can regularly attend the music therapy for young and old. Concerts and lectures are also on offer. The Music Department also cooperates with partner organisations.
